To be honest.I think most people who defend the practice.are the ones that exploit it themselves and KNOW its an exploit, but they don't like that its caused so much discussion that its completely gutted from the game. Its a balance issue that is the problem, its more of a case there is very little risk and high reward with jab cross spamming and parry spamming and it gets to the point where at high levels, everyone fights the same.and we all know we are more gaming the exploits then having a skillful match.Īlso there is the issue of the game looking and playing a typical of a real fight, NO ONE completely stops someone in the middle of a combo because they patted someone's arm away, and stun them long enough for a head kick, also NO ONE machine gun punches the head or body like a wing chun god. Mayweather, please stop spamming dodge so someone can actually hit you. MJ, please stop scoring, use other players so we have a better chance. Marshawn, please stop running the ball, we need your team to do something else that's easier to defend. What is spamming? How do you dictate how much of a particular attack someone is allowed to use until they should stop and do what you want them to do instead? Or, do something that can't be parried, clinch, takedown, or punish the parry recovery.Īll in all, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Parrying is high or low, so they have to guess right. If someone is constant parrying you, maybe you should stop throwing so many attacks? If you keep throwing the way you are and getting parried, you would think you'd stop? This is the equivalent of hitting something that hits you back every time without attempting to figure it out and stop it from happening. but isn't parry there to stop people from abusing the same pattern over and over again? Like jab cross? You should be parrying someone who's literally throwing out the same 2 attacks all fight for an easy win.
If someone is constantly throwing jabs and cross, and you aren't doing anything about it, why should they stop? Isn't it silly to expect someone to stop doing something that's working just because their opponent wants them to do something else so they have a better chance at winning?
